As the club’s members directed last fall, the club’s Capri 18 sailboat, Birthday Girl, has been listed for sale.
July 22, 2024, update: Birthday Girl has been sold to a Sacramento-area resident of the Delta. Many thanks to Len Kashuba for his assistance in getting her ready for transport.
The club’s fun little Capri 18 has introduced many a novice sailor to Clear Lake, but like many cool things she got parked during Covid. “Birthday Girl” draws a drought-friendly 2.33 feet with a wing keel that performs well in light to moderate winds. With 425 lbs. of ballast, she’ll also get you home safely if the weather shifts suddenly.
5hp Nissan outboard, new battery, sails, mast crutch, trailer all included. Current DMV registration and title held by Lakeport Yacht Club. Needs local quagga tags and a good pressure wash.
